34th annual Permian Basin Fair

34th annual Permian Basin Fair

This was a fun & interesting shoot. It had been raining all day but when Randi & Jason arrived to have there maternity session the rain had stopped. So the inside session continued as planned but since the rain had stopped I had my assistant stand on a stool with a water hose for it to appear as if it was raining. The shots came out wonderful! Thanks Randi & Jason for being such good sports!

So I tend to call my mother the “Crazy Cat Lady” but in a good way. Eight yrs ago while we lived in Florida my mom bought two Persian cats. Well threw the yrs and several hurricanes later (adopted estranged Persian’s left behind), she has wound up with 8 Persians or as she calls them “Her Children” or “My Brother’s & Sister’s”. Sadly one of her “children” named Gracie grew ill with cancer and passed away today. So this is a little memorial for my mom to her Gracie.
Quote I recieved from my mom this morning…
“For all of you who have had furbabies, Gracie is now at peace. She is running over the Rainbow Bridge, playing with others that are so loved”…..
Little Hailey is always such a pleasure to see. She wasn’t really into being shot today so we take her outside and play for alittle bit in my front yard. With alil bribeing of candy she was ready to work it! Thank you Hailey for being such a SweetTart. Happy 2nd B-Day!
